All of our pups come with a full health and temperament guarantee. They exhibit well balanced, pronounced drives for work and become very bonded to their new families. All of our pups and dogs exhibit high intelligence with a loving sense of humor. Starting at 8 weeks of age and continuing our pups enter a training program designed for a working dog functioning as a family companion. This program contains proper socialization to different environments, animals and people, house manners, potty training, how to ride in vehicles, how to walk with a family and run beside a bike, how to behave at the vet office and how to sleep beside the bed. In addition formal obedience is started along with tracking and the skills for protection work. This makes for a very well rounded pup that will be successful in any application including just as a family companion. Dora is a medium nerved, highly intelligent, bold female sensitive to her handler. She is in training for all three phases of Schutzhund; tracking obedience and protection. Her obedience is wonderful and she is ready for her BH and will be trialing soon. She has a strong joyful natural retrieve drive and she is learning the dumbbells fast. Her tracking is progressing well, very methodical with clear indications on the articles. She is very quick and strong during bite work and shows boldness coupled with intelligence. She goes into clear civil with unfamiliar helpers/decoys with a strong confrontational manner.
Her environmental training, socialization skills and basic manners have been completed. This means she has been exposed to a variety of different situations, people and animals. She has been taught how to walk on lead and off in an informal manner versus focused heeling for competition. Knows how to trot beside a bike, how to ride in the front seat of a vehicle and perform watch dog duties for both the vehicle and the home. She is reliable in the house and has established bathroom and house manners. She is high energy level with strong drives that are a good balance of defense and prey drives. She loves being with her handler and shows a natural suspicion. Warning, she is an excellent problem solver with a sense of humor. She shows good versatility and will be successful in a variety of disciplines from SAR, Law Enforcement, or an assistance dog.
