Safety and security are huge concern in these unsettled times. Throughout the years and verified through numerous criminal interviews dogs are the biggest deterrent from crimes. More then a security system and more then a gun. Those are good supplemental levels of security, but a dog is your primary deterrent. I personally have had a criminal come at me even when I have had a gun out. Every time I have had a dog with me, the situation and criminal activity was halted immediately. Because of this my husband set a rule that even tho I have a CCW I am still to take a dog with me any where I go alone.
